On 02/01/23, Cort Thomas, the Receiver appointed in the above-styled case, moves the Court for an Order ratifying the Receiver’s Agreement for Sale of Land and Delivery of Partial Releases (the “Agreement”) with Lumar Land & Cattle, LLC (“Lumar”) and declaring that that the Agreement is not subject to 28 U.S.C. § 2001 because the Agreement does not contemplate the Receiver’s sale of real estate. For the reasons explained below, the Receiver also requests expedited briefing.
